 Streitová graduated at the Music and Performing Arts Academy of the Bratislava University, where she also completed a PhD on Contemporary Music Performance, directed by M. Jurkovic. As a researcher she is working on a Post-Doctorate at the Aveiro University with a fellowship of the Foundation for Science and Technology. In 2000 she obtained a scholarship to attend the Darmstadt Summer Course in Germany, where she studied with C. Levine. She has also attended the Debrezen Contemporary Music Courses, directed by Istvan Matuz. During her research work she has always kept in contact with contemporary composers, namely R. Berger, J. Y. Bosseur, D. MacMouline, B. Schaffer, J. Guillou, V. Melo e J. P. Oliveira and has premiered several of their works in international contemporary music festivals. Her repertoire includes about eighty world premieres. She has worked with BBC, ORF2 Wien and BRB Berlin. Streitová has recorded 4 solo CD and 10 CD recorded with several ensembles. She has given concerts in Germany, Austria, France, Hungary, The Netherlands, England, Poland, Portugal and Spain, among other countries.
