Si-Mi Sisters, the guitar higher strings. Here they expose their feminine lightness, agility, and a brief moment of their cantabile nature.
The two central movements form a single piece:
The saddish Do.. is about the cellos gloomy and lowest string: great sound power, something plaintive (in this case). The guitar comments and – with its lowest string – interferes with the Cello’s register.
The
…have harmonics in his heart is developed on the bright and delicate sounds of the harmonic series wich, although ”hidden” for the hearing, also live in the previous low C.
Mila: Re Sol! explores the coincidence of these strings in both instruments, producing unison, forms of attack and textures in common.
