This is the fourth in a cycle of pieces dedicated to exploring the concept of density:
1) the first study was composed in 2005 for the Logos Foundation robot orchestra (Gent, Belgium);
2) a piece for orchestra - emerging densities (2006);
3) the second study is a didactic piece written for the Atelier de Música Contemporânea at EMNSC (Linda-a-Velha).

Starting from a circumscribed harmonic field, the exploration of sound matter is based on fusions between concepts of timbre, spectrum and hearing the inner movement of a sound.
The simplicity of the materials promotes writing suitable for didactic purposes where the challenges of interpretation and listening involve contemplating subtle changes in reiterated elements.
