Sound installation based on the living architecture project “Urban Algae Folly”, created by ecoLogicStudio, in collaboration with the INL – Iberian Nanotechnology Institute, which was exhibited in Praça da República, Braga, from December 2015 to March 2016.
The installation presents a sonic interpretation of the data retrieved at the installation in Braga. This interpretation has as its central idea the creation of conceptual and structural relationships between the micro and macroscopic dimensions of this micro-system. The measurements obtained by the system are used to generate structures and dynamic sonic textures. The notion of sound as organic entity explored with its own life, which transforms, develops and reacts to external elements.
