The veneration of Mother Nature that gives us life is the Mystery.
The respect for the forest and trees is our safeguard and protection.
That is why, the timber that comes from the tree can only have a sacred purpose.
Therefore, the marimba made of the precious and endangered rosewood is sublime and venerable.
This concert is thus a sacred ritual, to ward off the threats that come upon us, and to say NO ! to every tree that is being devastated.

This concert has been written at the request of Pedro Carneiro, to whom it is dedicated.
It develops from an harmonic progression obtained by frequency modulation and whose carrier frequency corresponds to an A flat on which successive chromatic modulations take place.
