New CD released by Numérica contains interpretations of the Lisboa Cantat Chamber and Symphonic Choirs conducted by Jorge Carvalho Alves and Manuel Rebelo. This 4th volume release is dedicated to contemporary Portuguese composers and contains works by Fernando Lopes-Graça, Carlos Maercos, Sérgio Azevedo and Vasco Pearce de Azevedo.
Miguel Azguime, the adventure of listening
New Miguel Azguime's CD with electroacoustic works will be premiered on November 18th during the Miso Music Portugal Concert Season at the Goethe Institute in Lisbon. This monographic edition is released under the Miso Records label.

New Miso Records CD, released within the cycle dedicated to the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble's Soloists contains works for clarinet and electronics by Portuguese composers. On this release Nuno Pinto performs music by Miguel Azguime, João Pedro Oliveira, Ricardo RIbeiro, Carlos Caires, Cândido Lima and Virgílio Melo.
António Pinho Vargas, Onze Cartas
New work by António Pinho Vargas for symphonic orchestra, electronics and three speakers (pre-recorded) was premiered on October 1st at the Casa da Música by the Oporto Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Christopher Konig. This work was commissioned by the Casa da Música, the Belém Cultural Centre and the São Carlos National Theatre.

Carlos Caires, Instante
New work by Carlos Caires for symphonic orchestra was premiered on October 8th by the Gulbenkian Orchestra conducted by Pedro Neves. The premiere performance took place within the Laureates' Concert of the Young Musicians Awards 2011 (Prémios Jovens Músicos 2011). The piece was commissioned by Antena 2.

Eurico Carrapatoso, Liszt but not Liszt
New work for wagner tuba and strings by Eurico Carrapatoso had its premiere performance on October 16th at the Nossa Senhora da Fátima Seminar in Alfragide. Paulo Guerreiro (tuba) and the Lisbon Sinfonietta were conducted by Vasco Pearce de Azevedo. This concert's programme was repeated on October 22nd and 24th.
